Coral Pro Elongated: reviews and opinions
It is the most powerful and spinniest of the Coral Pro series in Pickleball Effect's tests (2,085 rpm). A swing weight of 113 is low for an elongated paddle: the extra reach costs little hand speed. The surface kept 95% of its grit in the wear test. It is the least forgiving of the three shapes and may feel light to players used to classic elongated paddles. Pickleball Effect lists it as UPA-A approved only: it is not legal in USA Pickleball sanctioned play.
Strengths
- Very high, long-lasting spin
- Reach without losing hand speed
- Long handle for two-handed backhands
Limitations
- UPA-A approval only
- The least forgiving in the series
It suits you if
- You want reach and spin with an all-court game
- You hit two-handed backhands
Better choose another paddle if
- You play USA Pickleball tournaments
- You want maximum forgiveness: look at the hybrid version
