Sweet spot: what it means in padel
The sweet spot is the area of the face where contact with the ball gives the best response: more control, less vibration and cleaner ball output.
On round rackets it is central and larger; on diamond rackets it is higher and smaller. A large sweet spot forgives off-centre hits more and is useful for beginners.
